PROVEN METHODS AND FACTS
These
are some of the things I have learned through much racing and rider
training.
Look up and ahead,
keep your eyes on the horizon.
You have a much
better sense of balance and more reaction time
Do
not tailgate. Keep at least a 2 second gap
Do not tailgate.
It makes you tense and ruins the ride. Plus you
may get killed
Look
where you want to go. The bike follows your eyes.
Look through the
turn. If you look straight ahead, you will go straight.
Watch out for
intersections when you have right of way.
The most common
scenario for a auto/ cycle collision is auto turning
left at the light, in path of cycle going straight though the
intersection.
The sun is at your back, reflecting on the auto windshield, the driver
cannot see you.
Wear
a helmet.
Turn
your head, don't trust your mirrors.
Look around you, a lot!
